Shawarma Wraps with Tzatziki Sauce

Ingredients

Makes 4 wraps

2 packs Shawarma
4 large tortilla wraps
1 cucumber
2 tomatoes, sliced
2 red onions, cut in rings
lamb’s lettuce
200 ml Greek yogurt (or soy yogurt)
2 cloves garlic, crushed
handful of chopped mint
1 tsp lemon juice
olive oil
salt and pepper

Preparation:

Grate the cucumber, sprinkle with salt and leave to drain in a colander for about 30 minutes. Once drained, mix in the garlic, two tablespoons of olive oil, lemon juice, mint and yoghurt. Stir well and season with salt and pepper.

Heat two tablespoons of oil in a skillet and brown the Shawarma in 3-4 minutes. Heat the tortillas in the oven according instructions. Spread a layer of the tzatziki on the tortillas and top with lamb’s lettuce, tomato and onion. Last but not least, add the Shawarma and roll up the tortillas. Serve any left-over tzatziki on the side.
